Move over s’mores, we’ve got a new campfire MVP. Last week, our baker Kit went camping (because yes, even bakery people escape the ovens sometimes), and brought along a few S’mores Rice Krispy Treats to snack on. The usual plan? Eat ‘em cold, pack out the wrappers. But then inspiration struck—what if she roasted one over the fire like a marshmallow? Campfire Rice Krispy Treats…

Spoiler alert: It worked. Like, really worked.

It got warm and gooey, the chocolate melted just enough, and the graham bits crisped up with a little campfire kiss. The result? A next-level treat that’s part dessert, part wizardry.

Try It With Any of Our Krispy Treats

Now we’re not saying you have to roast your Rice Krispy Treats… but we’re also not not saying it. This little fire-hack works beautifully with most of the treats we make, especially:

Brown Butter Bourbon
Fruity Pebbles
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
S’mores (obviously)

We’re not 100% sure how the Ruffles treat would do… but if you’re feeling brave (or a little reckless), go for it. Let us know how that turns out.

Heading to the Woods? We Got You.

Planning a group trip? We can do bulk orders of any Krispy Treat flavor for your cabin, campsite, or late-night hotel snacking. Just give us a little heads up.

Seriously, if you’re roasting hot dogs, marshmallows, and your patience this summer, at least give your dessert game an upgrade. We’re going to make Campfire Rice Krispy Treats a thing.
