Where you spoil AND treat yourself.

We take classic pastries, put a touch of Little Jaye on them, and make treats you can’t say no to. Basically, if you have a sweet tooth, you’re screwed.

We go all in. Our muffins are big, our brownies are full of fudge, and the rest of our treats have the same amount of sugar and butter your grandma uses. From doughnuts to cakes, cookies to biscuits, and of course, our signature Rice Krispy treats, you’ll leave here with at least one (but most likely two) sweet treats.

Our Signature Rice Krispy Lineup

Our Rice Krispy treats were born out of our Lady Jaye pop-ups back in the day. We had our muffins (which aren’t your average Easy Bake mini muffins), but wanted to expand  our line of treats. The problem was, we were operating out of two small convection ovens and pumping out 20 different menu items. So, we had to get creative.

Chef Charlie’s innovation, creativity, and passion was contagious. Once his alarm rang at 3 a.m., it was all systems go. Seeing an opportunity no one else was doing, Charlie took what little space we had and created what are now our signature Rice Krispy treats.

What started in the back of a BBQ oven became a Little Jaye staple that our community can snap, crackle, and talk about.

What is Shokupan?

Shokupan is a white bread prized for its light and airy texture. Unlike typical white bread, it’s incredibly soft, fluffy, and melts in your mouth. Its mild and slightly sweet flavor makes it perfect for both sweet and savory food lovers.

Introduced after World War II, Shokupan has become a breakfast staple and is sometimes called Japanese milk bread or Hokkaido milk bread, named after the Japanese region known for its dairy production.

So, how did this Japanese milk bread end up in Seattle?

Well, we’ve always wanted to do something different. Not only is Shokupan different, but it’s also hard to make. Because of that, we are one of a handful of places in Seattle where you can actually get it.

But it’s what we did with it that we’re more proud of. We took the light and fluffy Shokupan and combined it with Rome’s most iconic pastry—the Maritozzi, typically made with brioche. The end result is a cream-filled hybrid of a Japanese staple and a classic Italian pastry to bring you that innovative Little Jaye flavor and flair you’ve come to love.

The best part is, we don’t dare skimp on the cream.
